Each and every flute is made with gratitude in my heart and sincerity in my hands.
The consistent comment from many Native American Flute Collectors is:
"In all my collection of flutes, the DeRuby Flutes are my favorite."
Thank you. Your happiness is my happiness.
I have been making flutes inspired by the Native American Flute since 1989.
I am not American Indian.
I wish to express my gratitude and respect for the rich culture of the 1st Nations.
Wado (Cherokee greeting and salutation meaning, in light and love)
Stephen DeRuby passed away on February 22, 2016 after 2 years of dealing with B cell lymphoma cancer. Those last 2 years he had understandably low production in making flutes. Stephen made one of a kind, innovative, amazing flutes with the best tone, all made by hand with his whole heart. These included Easy Reach, Mystic, and Easy Anasazi flutes. There are less than 50 flutes that were in his current stock that are still available. Due to demand we are only selling 1 flute per person and the prices have increased.
If you are interested in purchasing one of these few remaining flutes please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your request, including a contact phone number, and Kim Haley will let you know what is available and it's price.
